Struthiomimus were a rather strange and gangly species of dinosaur. Here, we see a specimen showing off his new bowtie. The young fellow seems rather pleased with himself, doesn’t he? No one has the heart to tell the gentleman that he’s wearing it wrong!

It was also considered bad taste to point out that troodons very rarely had matching bow ties and top hats, one didn’t fault the poor chaps for such a hardship. Only the most gauche of dinosaur society would make such a horrendous social gaffe.

Paleontologists are still perplexed to this day as to how the Rugops dinosaur seen here managed to attach the bow tie with its nubby little arms.
